Portmore United midfielder, Paul Wilson, has signed a two-year contract with Harrisburg City Islander from Pennsylvania in the USA.

Harrisburg City Island compete in the United Soccer League (USL).

Loop reports, Wilson represented Jamaica at the Under-17, Under-20 and Under-23 levels and esd awarded the Most Outstanding Player on Jamaica’s team that competed at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Mexico last year.

Wilson, who played for Glenmuir High in the rural area daCosta Cup football competition, has also been a standout in the Portmore setup at the junior level, after he joined at the Under-15 stage.

He has won numerous trophies with the club at the Under-17, Under-20 and Under-21 levels.

In 2009 Wilson participated in Jamaica’s leg of the Digicel Kickstart Clinic for the Caribbean and along with Omar Holness was selected to participate at the Sunderland Academy in the United Kingdom.

He will depart for North America on Wednesday to join his club.
